Hang on a minute...

Wasn't the 'Venture Cam' designed to do just that function? I've heard that you can mount the Venture Cam just below the front bumper to show exactly the same type of view on the satnav screen.

OK, maybe the technology has been upgraded, but the idea is an oldie!!
