Drive up the Cat and Fiddle or A54 Congleton road everyday the number of idiots up there astounds me. Not just bikers who all seem to think speed limits dont apply to them or large lorries on the roads that are to narrow and twisty for them with some bends they have to come over your side of the carriageway to negotiate.
Then there are the sightseers "o a sheep look Mavis" Who either travel at 10 mph causing everybody to take risks negotiating them to Censored pensioners who have been Buxton for lunch and think it's fine to drive Ted and Mary home after a nice lunch a couple of pints and half a bottle of wine.
Every Monday there is a new hole in a wall or hedge with a bit of bumper/fairing decorating the Moor.
But that dick wants prosecuting I hope his insurance dont pay out. Mine was a blue one! Smile

That guy shouldn't be allowed to ride a bike after that display... he's the sort of Censored stupid, reckless Censored er that gives the rest of us a bad name.

We've had three (yes THREE!!) bike riders killed in Cumbria, within the space of two hours last sunday afternoon. One of the bikers even managed to kill a car driver in the process of eliminating himself.

I love riding my bike (a Kwak ZX6R) just as much as I love driving my FFRR, but I would never drive or ride in any way which would put myself, my passengers or other road users at risk.

It's not just speed that kills...it's stupidity and reckless disregard that kills as well.

For most of that clip (first 3 mins) I didn't actually see anything dangerous. Their road position wasn't great and they were speeding but it didn't look dangerous.
His problem happened because he got impatient behind that slower bike. He overtook, went a bit hot into a left hander and sat the bike up. I've done it myself (on a race track) so I know it can happen. I guess that's the moral; race on a track, take it a bit easier on the road. Especially the Cat and Fiddle which apart from being notorious, is also actually really hard to ride well. And crawling with coppers.
Lucky it wasn't the nearby Long Hill road. They're proper cliffs, not just little drops like this.

Doing a 100+ is dangerous on those roads, did you see the road surface Shocked
I can agree to some of your comments but he was driving with a total disregard for our road users.

He was very lucky and very stupid i hope the coppers knock on his door. Very Happy 2020 Porsche Panamera Turbo Hybrid (V FAST)

Maybe it just looks slower on a little screen? I completely agree that doing a ton on the c&f is riding like a Censored .
I still maintain that i spent the first couple of minutes wondering what the fuss was about. The road was mostly empty and he was on the correct side of the road. You can see the point where the red mist descends and he starts actually performing dangerous manoeuvres. When he passes on double whites imo.
