what unit do you have in there, would be the mk3 cd unit,if so get your hands on the mk4 DVD unit.far better V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Yes you can improve it by getting a BMW mk4 DVD nav , plenty of threads on it around here somewhere .

d.c. the pre 2005 [approx] sat navs were non-touch screen and used the ibus system ..the only way to upgrade this is to replace the cd unit with a dvd unit...the touch screens on the 2005 and newer use the m.o.s.t. system which has fibre optic cabling, so you cant replace the screen without a big time cable replacement.. ... - .- -.

Pie cost i feel your pain!!!...im gonna rip the whole lot out and fit a double din Alpine unit with built in nav, ipod and DVD...cheaper and far better user interface |

I have the 2005 touchscreen and that is poo as well. It takes you where you want to go, but using the most obscure route possible. It also looks old and doesn't allow route changes on the move. Utter .

i to have a touch screen but with the latest firmware and maps and i have no problems with routing.... ... - .- -.

agreed, mines a 2007 touch. You need the later (2007 on) software for it. That will also allow input on the move! My Previous RR's!

mike , its a 2009/2010 version which i downloaded and burnt onto a dvd .. ... - .- -.

hi, you can just change the nav unit for the mk4 dvd unit, they are quite high in price. but is an easy upgrade...but i think you may want to think ahead, if you want blue tooth ect. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
