United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

I think the Navy leather looks very dated now, it was all new and the buzz when the L322 first came out in 2002, my dad had a 2005MY with Navy and I thought it looked dated then.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though. Discovery 4 HSE

Buck Blue works best with a light interior in my opinion ...

I agree with everyone completely. My ideal is the lighter blue with a light interior it tonga green with Sand. Was happy to settle for a zermatt or Stornaway with a light interior - but these are all 2008 cars - to get into a 2010 (on a 59 plate admittedly) for the same price is mighty tempting.

Ha ha!

Been my name in forums for years. Named after my first Dog - and yes - we then had a Bertie and an Algy.

Perhaps that's why I like green and blue FFRR's with Sand interiors. Old Skool.

PS - I'm 35.

Hi Bigglez,

The best cars/trucks I ever owned were always late model high milers...provided they had been serviced correctly. I bought them at the right price and found I had few problems afterwards.

I remember buying a 124 Merc at 3 years old with over 100k on it very right....it eventually ran to over 500k with nothing only general servicing.

I personally would have no fear of the 2010 with 97k on it...provided;

(1) It is running on fully synthetic oil.

(2) The egr system is clean...or has been fully cleaned.

(3) The transmission oil has been changed.

I would also offer them 18k for it in a straight deal using the unusal colour interior as a bargaining chip(remember you can always fit leopard seat covers if you don't like the blue leather!) 2008 Range Rover TDV8 435,000kms

Thanks Riverstick.

I've found a local specialist to the car who can do an inspection at their workshop. Now to see if the seller will let me!

A car that has been used consistently,
is more reassuring than a car that has done no miles and may have spent lots of time at a dealer with problems.
So look closely at the history.

A car with a less desirable spec, miles, or colour will always be cheaper.
If you are going to change in a few years you will probably get less as a p/x.

If you like it, and you keep it. Fill your boots because it will reduce you overall costs.

You buy the best to suit your needs at the time. Look after it properly and you will get the best out of it.

Ultimately on any car can be valued easily on a car buying site as a bottom line.

You pay a premium on this to get a reasonable demonstration of the vehicle, warranty, and some profit for the dealer.
I am sure most owners will understand the possible repair bill's and allow the dealer a chance at a profit.

you get what you pay for hopefully
