Had the sunroof fully open today ( well we get the chance at least once every year ! ). Noticed a long black plastic strip on the inside edge of the void it sits in, close to the windscreen side. Should that do anything ? I pushed it up with my hand and then back down again. Don't remember seeing anything about this in my owners manual, long since lost.

Stan's right it is a windeflector, its supposed to be spring mounted though and flick up when you open the sunroof

ummmm. it didn't !! Better start investigation why. Hope the spring hasn't gone. Just checked Rave, no mention of it or how to remove/repair

Bit of manual up and downing with a blast of WD 40 and then some grease around the pivot points seems to have done the trick. Be careful though if messing with yours, very cheap and nasty and could easily break.
