Restoration project

Guys, pick up my FFRR on Tuesday and it requires "a little light restoration" to get it nice and fresh again.
Im going to post mods, details etc as i start but a couple of things are first on the list to do,,,,

Now a little observation exercise!! Thumbs Up this is the only pic i have of the interior right now

Qustion 1...Its grey leather, am i correct in thinking this is called charcoal?...were there any other grey options?
Its got some farly big scuffs so im going to have a go at Dyeing it first before potentially looking at other options so a colour match is key.
2 you can just about see the A pillar trim....what is this colour in official landrover speak as i want to order some replacements
3 steering wheel...I want to fit a new smooth type, is the vogues a heated wheel and will a new replacement be a straight forward swap?

If you could help me with these for a start it would be greatly appreciated Thumbs Up

Trim colour.
Ask the dealer, they will be able to get the build spec and then tell you.

Leather
Thhere is a good spot in here:

I think all wheels are a straight swap, even 2010's

The grey leather was called Charcoal on the L322. (Black was/is Jet)

The A pillars and headlining have all been in the same trim as standard (Until 2010MY when you could specify a leather headlining) I think you will find it is the colour Ivory but the dealers will know. I don't think this will be difficult.

The steering wheel should be a straight swap, the Vogue does have a heated steering wheel. Any wheel prior to the 2010MY should be ok and will also have the nicer satin chromed spokes too. Might be worth checking the RAVE manual for safety precautions when removing the wheel because of the airbags etc. If you don't have RAVE I can send you the relevant pages. Thumbs Up Discovery 4 HSE

The lighter interior colour for early cars was Parchment - sort of creamy colour, not white though. Ivory is lighter as I have that on my 2010MY - it's a little odd that it has a Parrot handsfree phone system as I'm sure Vogues had a built in LR system (unless it's broken!) 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I don't think it has bluetooth and the previous owner might have got hacked off having to transfer the sim card.

No they did not have bluetooth, but a newer ULF module would solve that problem.

Discocuzzy - I guess you are still in an old analouge TV area

Not worried about the blue tooth module, i dont mind the parrot system, not sure the about the tv as well, TBH i wont use it that much but i would like a digital upgrade if possible, is it available on the older models?

you can cover the "A" pillars in appropriately coloured leather sourced off ebay - there is a thread / article somewhere on RRNet giving a full description of how to do it.
