There may be an issue with the fact they moved the airbags from the door pillars into the seats, therefore it might not be possible to :

The older BMW seats are nicer than the newer Lear seats so why bother ? 2008 MY Supercharged

Got to agree with axle. Many on the forum who've had early L322's and upgraded comment that the BMW seats are more comfortable as they have more adjustment due to the airbags being in the pillars Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

Agree the seats on my 2002 were more comfortable than the ones on my TDV8 |

Yep the same here, 2002 has much better seats as a 2007. Have them both here. |
