A car swap sounds Luke a good idea! I nearly did the same as you. I went to look at a mkiv golf last night. Thought I could run it around for a bit cheap as chips, then buy something later in the year.

Not sure though. Seen a bargain vogue se 3.6tdv8 for sale....hmmm.

It is a facelift yeah. Only been up for sale for a few days. A bloke viewed it last night and seemed very interested.

Its a 2001 carerra 2 3.6 manual facelift. I've had the ims bearing upgraded and aos replaced too. Lovely car.

Cheers.

BLoody Hell Paul - I thought I was bad - you actually may be worse than me. In the space of three years I went from an 2010 320i M Sport to an 2004 FFRR with a full facelift to 2010 model, then an 2008 Audi A8 then a 2007 ML420 AMG kitted then a 2011 520d M sport and then I made the huuuuuge mistake of

calculating all the cash I had essentially Censored down the toilet to buy all these cars and depn - it was bloody fun but I downgraded total to a .... wait for it....... Rover 75 lol

I was hoping it will bring me back down the earth for a little but not for long as I hope by the end of the year I can get myself into a Porsche Cayenne GTS of the 2008 model year or a CL63 around the same year. Both cars have very much been on my dream list since new. Both down around the 28-30k mark; its very tempting.

It might be cheaper for is to start swapping cars for 5-6 months at a time lol

Shocked Shocked You do know that cars can be refilled with petrol and you don't have to sell them when it gets to "E", right? Mr. Green

On a more serious note, how do the FFRR and the Audi A8 compare? (On road, obviously.) I've always liked the A8.

Rover75- Very nice looking car we never got to drive over here. Big Cry I get tempted by those every once in a while as they seem cheap as chips these days, and I'd probably have the only one in North America if I got one. Very Happy Then I get 'sensible' and think two Land a Rovers are enough. Big Cry

2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Carpathian Grey

Been laughing at the M5 thread - I've sold my M5 touring to get into a FFRR - the best car I have ever owned (and in a way probably ever will, as they'll never make a an N/A V10 Estate again, but I was just wasting it pottering around town and doing boring motorway miles.

So a 2010 TDV8 Vogue is landing week after next to give a lovely leather armchair to ferry the kids in. Smile

Good choice!

The m5 was nice, but its not a range rover.

I highly recommend getting your tdv8 remapped!

I am definitely considering a visit to JE engineering!

Problem is that no matter what I do, anything I buy will always be slow compared to the M5..
