Explain this.

I saw what looked like a black 06 supercharged a couple of days ago but it had 2010 reg plates on. Everything about the look of the car said 06 supercharged including the interior. Being curious I noted the plate and looked it up on the Dvla website (RX10 AAU) and it says year of manufacture 2010 but it is a 4.2 petrol. Weird. Another reason it caught my eye was the plates had been gaffer taped over some more plates beneath.

I reckon you saw the car about 1 minute prior to it driving into a petrol station, filling 105 litres of premium unleaded, and driving away....

Or if not dodgy (which i suspect it was) the only other reason it was on a 2010 plate would have been an import thing... Lots of ex military stuff have funny aged plates...

Maybe it was another from the fast and the furious?
