Transmission oil leak

After a two day battle to change the transmission oil cooler... ( should have known that having pulled off the two oil pipes that after 11 years, they would not seal properly again when put back on ! ). So two new pipes on today and thats the job complete. Have also changed the oil cooler thermostat and back plate at the same time.
However, have noticed that the leak on the back of the gear box ( part furthest away from the engine, is getting steadily worse. Had a new transmission box filter and oil change 9 months ago and used a new gasket but with out any other extra sealant. Oil seems to gather at the bottom of the round casting at end of box and then drips on to cross member underneath. Any ideas any one ?

The black pipe with the 'u' shaped bend at the end.
It's tucked over the back of the engine above the transmission, you would probably have to remove the air intake scoop for the heater/blower to see it.
