Ireland 2008 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey
[Sold] Faultmate MSV2 Extreme..Now sold

For sale is my Faultmate MSV-2 Extreme with single vehicle licence. It covers Range Rover L322 05-09 Single Vehicle kit with EXTREME Vehicle Server.

The kit includes :

1) Faultmate MSV-2 EXTREME Vehicle Server without built in VCI 1 (HW017)
2) Null Modem / Serial Connection Lead (LD032)
3) VCI 2, combined VCI unit and OBDII Diagnostic socket Connection Lead (LD020)
4) USB to RS232 lead (AC002)
5) Bluetooth Module (AC029)

Also includes power adapter as well.

This item currently retails with Blackbox Solutions for £1066. I’m asking £695 (includes free postage to anywhere in the UK / Ireland) and it’s in ‘as new’ condition.

I have the ‘Transfer Of Ownership’ form from Blackbox which I’ll complete at this end following the sale – I’d just need to add the buyer’s name & address before I email the form back to them. Buyer would just have to pay their 50 Euro administration fee to Blackbox solutions to be able to transfer it to any (single) vehicle in the Land Rover range.

Send me a PM if you’d like to buy. I’ll can give you more details etc.

Gareth

You should maybe advertise this on the other forums as you can transfer it onto other vehicles as well iirc for the admin fee if the other ones would have been cheaper or the same price when bought new Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Hello Tobylo. I would like to know if your FAULTMATE MSV-2 is still for sale? I am new to the forum (first posting) and am not sure how we can contact each other if you still have it. 2007 3.6 L322 Vogue (SE)

So to make this second post meaningful guys, once I get my FFRR sorted, I hope to be able repay this forum, with some useful useful contributions of my own.

In fact starting now....when refurbishing a Westphalia/LR tow bar armature from another L322, for use on your own FFRR, replacing the old gaskets can represent a bit of a challenge. I tried seal around the bumper bolt sockets with mastic to no avail. With-in a week or two, I found a centimetre of water in my wheel well Big Cry

The answer.....underlay, as used under laminated wooden flooring. It is available as a closed cell foam and is water resistant . In my case a kindly flooring store gave me a gift of a sq.ft or two of the stuff. It was grey in colour, about 3mm thickness and had a peelable adhesive backing on one side. Looked very like the original Westphalia stuff. Cut to shape and applied to both sides of the armatures bumper plates, to formed a perfect watertight seal, once the eight bumper bolts were torqued up! Wink

Forgive me if the above rightfully required a separate thread. But I just couldn't resist the urge to contribute something useful! Twisted Evil

Now for some pm'ing... Laughing 2007 3.6 L322 Vogue (SE)
