United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

Mick, caution is the word. They have massive depreciation for a reason.
1. They're uglier than me (difficult indeed)
2. Reliability isn't too good with early ones suffering American style build quality.

I had a couple as loaners when my E55 was in for repairs (that B'stard was unreliable as well) and is wasn't my cup of tea. Wooden feel to the steering, rattles in the door and a feeling of a cheap Korean thing rather than Mercedes. Almost a van like feel, kind of a decent workhorse but not something you'd drive out of choice. Hard to explain really. Drive one and you'll see.

They might be expensive new but S/H values tend to represent what people actually believe they're worth. Thumbs Up

Dom.

I have had a couple and been very surprised by them.

The facelift really helped them and the 350CDI was a great improvement over the original 320CDI.

They offer extraordinary value used, are not bad on fuel for their size and the power train is very tried and tested now... 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

The sport or the rear bench conversion Mick??

IMO for safety and proper use of 7 seats the choices are

Disco 4 HSE SDV6 + Remap and de-dpf
Volvo XC90 D5 + Remap and de-dpf
Or a decent MPV. the C4 Grand Picasso is a good car and sells very well despite its poor residuals. It sells well for a reason, it does its job and it does it extremely well! The new ones come with LOTS of toys for such a car. Plus you could afford to get two for the price of a semi decent/recent version of the other two options.
One word of advice. For the 1.6e/HDi engines take them to volvo or ford for servicing. they are cheaper and use the same engine Smile Dont do the panaromic roof unless you really really want it as it adds a lot of weight and makes the car that bit more top heavy. You wont get park heat on them but some can be modded cheaply enough to retrofit for your warm parts of the country Very Happy
