Can you get the "flat" style wipers for the FFRR. I have had these on my last couple of cars as both retrofit and OEM and have generally found them much better than the older style traditional blade.

I also get a clunk from the rear wiper as it returns to its resting position, is this normal> If no any suggestions. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Rej, No flat blades for the front of the FFRR Big Cry , you can get them for the rear if you choose to.

The thud from the rear i would suggest is due to misalignment. Does it thud when returning to the park position? Ian

Sorry to hijack.
My rear wiper when it sweeps the window leaves 2 unwiped parts that look like someone has been pushing the car from behind. I have replaced the blade but no success.
Any ideas?

Thanks

bend the wiper arm in a bit so there's more wiper blade 'contact' with the glass.. ... - .- -.

You will probably find that the pivot on the rear wiper arm is siezed - when I got mine, the rear wiper only cleared the centre of the screen, and when the wiper was parked, if you looked up under the spoiler you could se that the bleade was not sitting on the glass, but was about an inch proud. Turned ignition on, operated rear wiper, and turned ignition off when the blade was vertical on the window - sure enough, the arm pivot was siezed solid. Big Cry

Plenty of WD 40 and manual pushing and pulling freed it off, it now sits on the screen properly and does its job. Thumbs Up 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

sorry for the extremely daft question in advance, but I can't for the life of me work out where you measure the angle of the wiper from - i.e. what are the things marked by the red arrow in the pic below.

I assume the long straight lines running diagonally are meant to be the wiper blades

thanks for the patience

ah that now makes sense

that's the angle when the wiper blades are at the top of the action and the two parallel lines are meant to be the bottom of the windscreen? or am I now more confused?!?!? MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"
