Freesat HD recorder - suggestions?

Now that I've cancelled the sky. I need something that i can record TV, and find the moto gp playing on a foreign network.

Any recommendations? Ian

We,ve got a Humax Freesat recorder (no terrestial signals down here in the valleys of deepest mid Wales Big Cry and no way I'm lining mr Murdoch's pockets Rolling with laughter )

I don't watch foreign channels, but when you tune the thing you get hundreds of different channels to choose from, including God TV, Al Jazeera etc. etc. If you have a look on the Freesat website, i think they have a list of what you can receive (does change occasionally though) Thumbs Up 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

i think BT sports has the rights to moto gp this season but you could stream the events onto your laptop and then bounce the video to your tv using something like chromecast or connect with a hdmi cable .. ... - .- -.

Use your sky+ , they will sell you a sky freesat card for about a tenner, which gets you most of the normal freeview channels! Or does that only work with non sky+ boxes, cant remember but cheapest way if it does work!

Edit £25 according to website and they can make it work on skyHD box...... Aparently

edit again, I'm wrong, though you can get the telly, you can't record unless you pay a tenner per month. Big Cry There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

^ I think you lose the ability to record if you cancel your contract. It shows the free to air channels without buying a new card if you leave your old card in. Previously..
