Tungsten L322

I drove a Biarritz Blue P38 on and offroad for 5 years, but with 140k miles on it, some of the repairs coming up were beyond my expertise and not really worth it.
We'd put the car on Arnott springs, bilstein shocks, general grabber AT2 tires, it had the Tornado chips, sports injectors, K&N filter, retro-fitted satnav, etc. I've salvaged the chips.

I've just traded it in for a Tungsten grey L322 Vogue.
Tungsten because the previous owner had it taken apart and sprayed Tungsten grey like the Vantage he also drove. Everything, including doorhandles, mirrors, gills and grille has been painted tungsten grey. Except the headlight wipers that is... It seems he's also fitted SC tail-lights.
I've transferred my Rovacom license and haven't found any faults, it's going for a checkup at the dealer tomorrow.

Cool Very nice Pval - Like the colour coded bits Thumbs Up

Still looks just like Bonatti or Stornaway Grey to me (but its difficult to get ideal colour representation on a photo)

Edit; You beat me to it MICK Razz

Haven't had the chance to compare it yet, somehow only been seeing black and green ones thus far, maybe tomorrow.

Very Nice grey shade and certainly looks lighter than bonatti grey.

Not sure i would have had one resprayed to match my other car but if you can afford it then do what u like Thumbs Up

Would look great with newer 7 spoke 19s or 20s

Love the black LR badge and SC lights

Found a Stornaway colour sample at the dealer:

It's a shade lighter and a bit more speckled with metallic, in the shade it's clearer:

Dealer checkup was alright, brakes are coming, but I noticed that when I bought it.
Left engine bank is sweating a bit, they offered to replace the gasket for €120.
Track rods (not sure about the english term, haven't found the part on rimmerbros or elsewhere yet)
left-rear are done, felt and saw it myself, they offered to replace those for €295.
and tires should be done, it'll probably make it through MOT this year, but next year definitely.
They offered Michelins for €1290, time to read up on tire choices I suppose.

Reasonable prices, though I'm not too sure on the tires, yet, a quick search on internet came back with
practically the same pricing, but I haven't decided if I want normal road-tires or M/T.

Yes Pval - Last couple of pictures of bonnet shows the difference in colour quite well - seems to have a very slight bronze(ish) tint to it - looks superb by the way Thumbs Up

I wasn't doubting you - honest!

A big improvement on the P38 don't you think - will you be splashing about and getting this new one mucky? Whistle
