Euro tunnel booking up......

If anyone is thinking of a school holiday crossing, the summer Saturday sensible departures are booking up fast.

Just booked or stay at Lez-Eaux, went to book the crossing only to find it was full. Had to book the ferry instead........

Hey ho good old p and o Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

the best times always book up fast but they are also the most expensive, its worth considering going very early or very late.. ... - .- -.

Very very very early

Pretty much the only available for 26/7 was 0320 or earlier.......

Cos i had the van on the back made it more. Ferry was cheaper anyway! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Always annoys me that they won't sell me a flexi-plus ticket when towing Sad

In the summer we generally head over on Friday night & stop over in Rouen.

Anything but the ferry - my wife and kids all get sea sick.

Tbh, last year I was a couple of hours early on the return leg and they let me on......

Really p'd off as I'd booked the campsite already and if I'd known I would have moved it a day, never mind, ferry will be fun for the kids as they are ok with sea travel. Just means I'm not in France till nearly 11. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just had same problem only reasonable crossing left for us was Dover Dunkirk which is ok but half an hour longer. However £90 with the Caravan Club was quite reasonable. I don't have the van anymore but kept membership on as it gives good savings on crossings Thumbs Up Mine was a blue one! Smile

Just booked the ferry for April/may. Chunnel was +100 eur each way, ferry was < 80 eur round trip. I'm lucky to be without kids, so I can go late at night when it's cheap, and also get some kip!

That's the crossing I'm using. I much prefer it. Hate Calais.

We're looking at Les Eaux again, NMJ but stopping in one of their statics / chalets - good wasn't it ?
The 70th anniversary of D Day may have something to do with the ferry issues ?

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
