United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Causeway Grey

Love the Tempest. Its a 2013 EB model with the solid contruction.
We replaced a Pegasus 646 with it, and its so much nicer.
No problems of note to date, but I do like the look of the Eternitis.....if the quality is OK! 2017 Range Rover SDV8 Vogue SE

The Eterniti's look very nice, not sure they do any family friendly layouts tho...but not looked closely either ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

We've had few issues with our Eterniti but the factory has always been quick to resolve them. It's actually back at the factory at the moment to have a new side fitted. The existing side has sufferred some minor delamination over the Summer and they've agreed to replace the whole side to fix the problem. Seemingly our van (number 13 !) off the line was built during the cold weather early in 2013 and the glue they use to create the composite sides didn't stick too well due to the low temps.

They have also made some requested minor modes to the van at no cost to us. Smile

Make sure you get the right one back as ours is also in at the moment for a new side.

We are also getting the new 2014 rear lower panel fitted as we have had problems grounding.

We have had a few minor problems most of which have been sorted, they sent a man to Dunfermline once and 2 men to Filey to sort problems, they have also taken the van from our home back to Widnes twice to sort problems.

Will see the 2014 models this weekend at the Glasgow show as I have been asked by Eterniti to be on their stand.

This is REALLY making me want to get down to Cornwall with my van! Planning to tow a Swift conqueror with a 2008MY 4.2 SC - given circa 1800 weight shouldn't be a problem by the sound of it. 2008 MY Buckingham Blue 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

Good point well presented! Used to tow with an 02 V8 HSE & that was quick enough!
People do tend to stare when caravans overtake them .... Smile

Someone said about blocking the roads - I have a rule for towing, that once 5 or more cars are queuing behind
Me I pull over and let them pass - but with a v8 there's not usually any need lol 2008 MY Buckingham Blue 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

Caravan Weight

IanV8
Just weighed my Eterniti on a weigh bridge yesterday, 2220 kg with next to no payload. Yikes! Weight plate states a maximum of 1999 Kg.
Will be speaking to Eterniti first thing tomorrow.

Mine was upgraded to 2200 when I bought it and they have increased it to 2400 at my request.

So in a week's time I'll be heading off on a 2000mile round trip to France with the tintent. First time abroad with this car and as impressed as I am with the performance, I am aware that air temp, longer drive, steeper hills and additional kit all put pressure on it. Previous drives have all been trouble free, bar one - last year, so you see I am a touch tentative....which is all likely to be stuff not too worry about.

So, TDV8 caravanners....what tips do you have of overseas "hot" towing ? Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
