About to spec an Autobiography 5.0

I'm in the fortunate position to be about to confirm a specification for a 5.0S model. Any 'lessons learned' from fellow enthusiasts greatly appreciated.

My preference on colour is the dark green, with clear glass and 21" wheels - I suspect that there not many green cars out there, but if anyone has any pictures of such or the Almond or Tan interiors, that would also be appreciated.

Thank you!

Tan should be the pick, but it's still a bit orange to my eyes.

Trommel - many thanks. Agreed, the orangey-ness is what I'm slightly uncomfortable with. There is a darker brown which just looks too, er, well, you know...

A chum of mine has just bought a previous-shape 5.0S in green with tan and he claims to adore it. Could anyone confirm whether the 'old tan' is the same colour as the 'new tan'?

Any other spec pointers appreciated.

Thank you, much obliged.

I haven't seem them next to each other, so unsure if it's changed - you need to see it in the flesh because it doesn't seem to photograph very accurately.

Espresso/Almond (with Espresso seats) looks great to me, almost like the Holland & Holland P38s.

Holland & Holland L405 (which hasn't been announced) with what appears to be a different tan:

Trommel - interesting re: H&H. The image you've shared looks like it's from an LR configurator...but you say it's not announced...? I'm probably being dim but please elucidate...because it does look quite good!

Thanks, again.

H&H pictures are from last year - have a few more on another computer which I'll dig out. Not sure whether it's awaiting release, approval or what.

No idea, it looks a little different on this screen and I'd imagine it would be different given the likely premium.

The normal tan can look very different in different photographs anyway.

Tan with piano black and ebony roof lining Bow down

But with green exterior? I am not sure that works, plus you are limiting your options when you come to resale.

I would put green with ivory, cirrus or ebony.

Good luck with whatever you order because it will be amazing Thumbs Up

I think LR have a chart that the designers put exterior colours and interior colours together.

Cirrus has a blue tinge so I would stick to Ivory but I think Tan could work too. Avoid Jet as Green/Jet seem hard to sell.

Dark green with a decent tan has surely to be the perfect RR combination. Unless you're Russian or something.
