possibly the FF didnt go completely to sleep because of the door being ajar.. |

Thanks Stan, That is exactly what happened. Jump started it and is fine now. I have made a mental note to make sure all doors are completely closed when I shut it down. Mike |

Mike, the indicators only flash with the alarm set when all the doors are closed sir... Always look for the flash and you know all doors are closed

The old p38 used to give a high pitched beep is a door wasn't shut properly odd how things are so called - improved |

one reason why i've activated the lock/unlock chirp on mine with the iidtool, saves me looking at the indicators and i know its locked properly.. |

IIRC you can enable the horn/sounder bits in the CCF on the 2005=> models
