I haven't been East of St Moritz to get to Italy. I have ridden my motorcycle to St Moritz and then gone to Italy, but I went West to Como. Will have to try your route next time - but that's quite some distance!

It certainly was ! - in the same day, we rolled into Stressa (next to Maggiore) for the night. Exhausting, but a hell of a journey - the Td6 was superb, that's why I don't like people knocking them. It's not until you've properly used that you can fully appreciate it -
