I know exactly what you mean once you've experienced a FF that's it I'm afraid.

My missus was adamant that she wouldn't be seen dead in a RR , its only for posh tw%^& etc etc

Well, in true blokey style I ignored her and bought one anyway Razz

She drove it (reluctantly) twice , once with me and then took it off on her own . She gets back and guess what comes next ?

"when my car needs replacing I'm having a range rover " !!!!

As long as she pays for it !

Semperfidlas - are we the only FFRR owners in Dorset where the car doesn't arrive from Chelsea on a friday night ? . . . . during the week there is hardly a FF to be seen but come Saturday they're everywhere !
Only outnumbered by the RRLight Sheep

Funnily enough I had a Gaylander when mine was in the stealers and my domestic management complained about comfort and the youngest wouldn't get in it saying it looked chavy but then he is a teenager.
Her car is due for renewal and she wants an Evoque thing Shocked

We got a brand new freelander courtesy car whilst ours was in the main dealer having a service last year. The Mrs turned her nose up at that and refused to take the FF for its next service whilst I am working away as she doesn't want to be in "one of those" as it's "such hard work driving a manual!". Laughing

Soon got my own back and brought her back down to earth, bought a 110 double cab defender and now insist on driving that everywhere we go together. Her response is always "I feel like Andy Sugdens wife off Emmerdale". Best part about it is my little boy prefers being in the defender to the range as he can sit in the front. Rolling with laughter

Pugwash / Semperfidlas - I'm also in Dorset (just), in Ringwood but on the Dorset side of the border. Plenty of Range Rovers near me. JP Morgan Chase management seem to have occupied every house in my area except mine!

On topic: When we bought our first RR years ago my wife told me that we would never be happy driving anything else. For once, she was right!... We've had Freelander and Evoque loan cars. Didn't like the Evoque at all - neither sporty nor spacious - what's the point Question .... Although she did enjoy the Cadillac Escalade we had in Qatar Whistle 2012 5.0L S/C
