Try Barry Clarkson at Clarkson Commercials in Bothwell.

He's a real petrol head and runs with me in the Porsche club.

He does conversions so maybe try him and just say I referred you.

I'm maybe going to do LPG myself dependent on model I buy as I'm doing 25k a year now.

Give him a try anyway.

Let me know how you get on.

2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Epsom Green

Just my tuppence worth;

I've personally had great experiences with the Prins system.

When the E53 X5 came out my dad bought one new, and had a Prins system fitted within 1000miles from now. This was the first one converted in the UK and has covered over 110k without any problems.

I've run a Prins system on a 2006 5.7ltr HEMI V8 Dodge Ram for around 6 years/40k miles, again with no problems.

So there was no choice for me when it came to the 4.4ltr V8 Vogue, that's got a Prins system too! No this one did have a slight teething issue, after a trip to Austria a mis-fire occurred, I took the vehicle down there and we found quite some difference between the timing on each bank of injectors - so one bank is being replaced tomorrow afternoon.

Matt

Scotland 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

Thanks Paul.

I've just bought an 06 SC from a finance clearance house down south with LPG on it (Tartarini). I bought it blind (I offered crazy money and it was accepted, so worth a punt) and it looks like it might have worked out well...I got it off my transporter today, fuelled it up with petrol and LPG and it seems to be great so far. All working as it should be. The kit was fitted at EcoTec in Middlesex according to the paperwork. I'll get it over to Bothwell and let them check it over - I'm only in Stewarton so good to have someone recommended that is right next to me.

Will be good to chat cars with him as well if he is a petrol head. I run a car storage and transportation company up here, and all of us are petrol heads. In fact...now that I think of it....most of the flaming storage spaces we have are taken up with either my projects or my friends!!

Just a bit of info really I ran a P38 4.6 on log Prins system installed by a bloke in Slough did a really good job and I used it for 8 yrs with log and did around 100k not a blip so I can recommend the prins and think it is more than capable of handling the S/C not sure about the valve seats though:9

I have the BRC system on my 4.2 SC. It runs perfectly.... I put about £38 in the tank, and with mixed driving, i get about 180 miles. I never run it totally out... As soon as the last light starts flashing i turn it off and fill up again.
