wonder if the compressor had to be modified seeing the whole vehicle weighs as much a young elephant...must be a struggle to lift that kind of weight using standard compressor... Sad

They weigh in at about just over 4 tonnes but can get around 15+ MPG, depending on how it's driven. However, all braking must be done in a straight line 'cos if you brake hard on a bend, the thing will lean over ......a serious amount. You also cant J-turn them as they will flip!

There are a few lying around unused in the certain places in UK. The newer ones have the 5.0L Sc engine but not seen one in Govt/Mil service. The FCO have now gone for £250,000 Land cruisers which are awful I think.

The run flat tyres come in at around £500 a piece ... and dont last very long!

Now that's neat! Thumbs Up

Probably the perfect vehicle for a serious over lander given the unrest in parts of the world.

seeing as you cant wind down the windows, I bet there is still some Tony Blair fart gas caught in tiny pockets inside that car.
a long time ago, I was offered a bulletproof series three jaguar for £3000 about double the price of a typical one. it had built in tints, as the glass was so thick. it wasn't for me. -I like curry.

See the stronger rear tailgate struts as well Smile

I always thought when these were sold on you had to make sure they went to security cleared people or at least vetted so they weren't going to dodgey types but maybe things have slackened up a little bit.

TBH i haven't seen one with an avg MPG over 10 unless its been reset when on a long run but they tended to use the jags instead for that.

Can you even J turn a standard rangey??

The landbruisers are god awful cars but they reckon they are cheaper long term... Hmm good luck with that i say! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
