Does this forum make you paranoid?

I've got an early 2007 TDV8 (January) so it doesn't have a flip key, should I really be bothered? It obviously needs a Front end upgrade or does it? Clearly I need to change all the light bulbs to LEDs or do I? Sometimes it won't start or does start but with various error messages) that means I need at least a new battery (actually got one) a new FSR, new Alternator and spend hours looking unsuccessfully for a power drain? I have flashed the ECU with a Superchips gadget so I can look forward to the imminent destruction of turbos and engine - oh no! I bought some Nokian tyres rather than Pirellis that will cause wobble as they won't balance, blow outs if I go off road and of course undriveable in an inch of snow. I bought some Millers to add to my diesel because apparently my intrepid, world beating super car that can traverse deserts, snows, third world countries will be rendered useless if I use Tesco diesel. I also am beginning to think I shouldn't have a diesel anyway as 5.0 petrolsuperchargers are the way forward

Until I found the forum it was a great car that had few problems but by and large gave me no worries - I'm not normally that lucky but I'm keeping my fingers crossed Thumbs Up : Very Happy

Just in case anyone takes this as a serious rant, it's not I'm just enjoying my second cup of tea of the day and there's no decent jokes on the forum Laughing Geoff

You're completely wrong Geoff. It's just that Range Rovers need to be maintained whereas - as everyone else knows - all of the other cars on the road don't date, nothing ever goes wrong with them and they require no servicing or maintenance, hence are a trouble free experience.

Or is it that this is one of the few meaningful forums out there where people can ask questions and post moderate rants, safe in the knowledge that someone decent will respond either by way of counselling and/ or give decent advice on a good way forward? Thumbs Up

Paranoid?
My psychiatrist says I should stop using this forum and get out more. Well, he hasn't actually said that but I'm sure that's what he's thinking! Wink

And just to cap it all - postman delivers a reminder to get a tax disc - £490 of my own money. How I miss those company cars when it wasn't a reminder but a tax disc that came through the post, generally with a pay slip Very Happy Geoff
