You need to update your firmware then you can turn on "nav on the move" |

I like it apart from JLR refusing to issue update discs. |

I liked it in the UK with all the features interlinked but here in Oz it sucks balls , no TMC no RDS, limited POI and no extra info on them, mapping from Burke and Wills first crossing and Land Rover won't allow updated maps to be released .And it runs the old soft wear so you need to push five buttons to cancel a route . Some people complain about the graphics but in UK speck at least it was well integrated. 2008 MY Supercharged

Mine seemed to work well in France when visiting family. Which version is the updated disc? |

Well, I disagree chaps. All my recent cars, the D3, the FFRR and the Jaguar XF all have largely the same system and it's really rubbish. Slow to respond, takes forever to search, no ability to add updates such as cameras, the list goes on. The best bit about it quite frankly is that the touch screen is a handy place to sucker mount the TomTom.

the latest disc is the 2011-2012 version....i've been to france, belgium, and germany with no problems in fact a tomtom nav was used in conjunction with my FF nav on my cologne trip and it wanted to take down farm tracks all the time whereas the FF nav took us straight to our destination....

I'm with mzplcg on this. It's terrible for such a costly car. Same system in the D3 and no better. Its a decade behind the competition. I've given up with it in the D3 and use a Tomtom. Graham

I like it - that being said, I've not had another type of satnav.

I have found the Nav in the touchscreens ok but if you want a really horrid experience then try a D4 circa 2011/12MY and if it hasn't been updated prepare to be amazed how slow a more modern system can be... It was literally a click and wait between postcode letters, and i dont mean like the touchscreen wait, i mean like the get counting wait!
