rrs wheels

how many members have range rover sport 20' wheels on their ffrr, and if you do what tyre size do you have fitted and how does the ffrr handle with these wheels...

Isn't the offset wrong as per about 8 billion "what wheel" posts on the forum? Land Rover Addict

yes the offset is different to the ffrr wheels and makes it come out farther ..

Doesnt that put extra strain on the hubs/bearings that they weren't designed for?

I have recently bought an FFRR with 20" Diamond Stormers fitted. Tyres are 275/40/20 which do look a bit small in the wheel arches. I also got the original 18's as part of the deal and are looking to fit them this weekend. I am presuming it will be a softer ride with the 18's but wet and dry handling seemed OK with the 20's, but i have just moved up from a D2. The 20's have good tyres so i will be looking to sell them. May get some proper RR 20's or stick with 18's, don't know yet. Hopefully post some pics of before and after on My RR.

i've got 18'' on mine at the moment shuan but i dont like the look so thats why i'm asking questions re upgrading to 20''.....sounds like 275/40/20 [which i believe are rrs size] are to small for the ffrr .....out of curiosity ,how much for the 20''..

I would probably put them on Ebay, but would hopefully get at least £500.

Scarey if you really want to sell them then put them on the For Sale section of RRSport.co.uk - there are always folks looking for genuine RRS 20" wheels, especially Stormers, over there, from experience of having run an RRS on standard 18" wheels (they came on the SE versions as standard) and then a 2nd RRS on 20" wheels that I also had 2 sets of 19" Wheels for, the ride was always nicer on the 19's with the winter tyres fitted, purely because there was more sidewall to absorb the bumps, the 19's also were a lot easier to keep unscuffed!. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

That's why I wouldn't use them, even though when I mentioned it here someone said the difference is so small it makes no difference.

But I'd still never fit them. Any critical components should be original and designed for the car IMHO.
