Looking for a complete high sided boot liner to protect the entire boot for the occasions where our Bernese Mountain Dog will go in it, as well as the cargo net if i can source one in the correct colour.

Wonderful dogs Thumbs Up Bitch or dog ? A good friend of mine had a bitch and it did the funniest of things but dam the mess........ dam the hair & dam the need to put everything in its mouth ...... lovely dog though Wink

You might as well buy an old cast iron bath, fasten it down to the 4 floor cargo hooks, chuck a length of carpet in it and put the dog in that, save messing the rr up Rolling with laughter

He, Murphy, is a dog, and still 'entire.' He is a lovely dog, bit simple at times but to be fair not a chewer so I can trust him in the boot, but it's his hair....everywhere! (Bearing in mind I am a dog groomer too still can't escape from it!) Planning to have the full liner combined with the rigid boot liner should just about cover it! 2011 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

Funny, for all the talk that RR are Chelsea tractors for taking the kids to school you're the only (proper) woman on the forum, and it doesn't look like you live in Chelsea.

Welcome, by the way, lovely car.

That worn out key looks just like mine! Did you go to the dealer for the programing and key cut for the FF?

I just transferred the innards from my existing key into the new one. The key was cut by a regular cobbler on the high street. Worked fine, i think it's the transponder that needs to be coded am i right? Which obviously already was from the existing key, the blade isn't a problem. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

So the better half had a check over of the PCV system and found the usual mushy hoses with traces of oil in so he has replaced them all and gave everything a clean. To be honest after looking at some of the horror stories on the web the PCV on our RR was not really gunked up but its certainly something we will be keeping an eye on. I got an action shot so to speak of him not that he would be impressed Laughing

For Christmas the rangie got some new wipers and LED's for the exterior but since being a typical Range Rover has decided to flatten its battery so it looks like I will need a new one. There does not seem to be any huge drain on the battery but the other half is yet to test it luckily I had jump leads in the car for my sisters audi to rescue me...

Congratulations, it looks lovely! If you want one of the flip keys, I have a brand new uncut one if you want one before Daveo's next batch.

I had an incident recently where the RR didn't want to start, OH checked the old battery which wasn't holding charge as well as it should so ordered a new Varta, as you can see the size difference is obvious! To be fitted tomorrow, in February I plan to LPG the RR - looking at a BRC system from research and reviews.

Few more updates got a full boot liner for the dog which is brilliant keeps all his hair from getting on the interior. Changed the rear discs and pads and been using the RR for what its meant to.

Pic with the Horse who is called Bean Smile

And recently we have moved so used the RR to pull out roots which was fun Thumbs Up

Sadly the RR is being naughty and the OH believes the Valley Pan gasket is leaking as we are losing coolant but it doens't seem to be from any of the hoses at rear and there is the tell tale staining on the gearbox housing/drive. :blub:

Well the RR had a coolant leak which we tracked down the common valley pan gasket fault on M62 engines. So the other half decided to take on the task and replace the cam cover gaskets at the same time although after all the swearing I think he wish he didn't. He has a new love of all things BMW.... not Laughing

Anyway a few Photos

Before Strip down

Inlet manifold off

Valley pan off and one cam cover off

Only 1 spark plug with signs of oil in

New Valley pan in and going back together

Didn't take anymore pics and we also repainted the cam covers as they were all flaking and also gave her a service afterwards as well. Since it all went back together no more leaks Mr. Green

Decided to buy a few bits for her this week. Bought some rubber mats as I want to keep the carpet mats in the great condition they are in, saving them from muddy boots particularly with winter approaching.

Also decided to replace the original green Land Rover badges front and rear with black inkeeping with the colour of the car, I think it's a nice little addition

Rear

Front

Next on the list is a set of red and clear rear lights, just waiting for them to arrive before I can freshen up the rear end!
