I used to use a piece of software called sharepod, its a freeware for mp3 - ipod transfer.

Back up fail and a drive fail means have lost it. New version is not great and wonder if anyone has the old version as a zip file they could send me please....

Or anyone have a suggestion of a simple to use mp3-ipod-mp3 software....not a fan of itunes
