^ Yes, I think that was the way most of them went to thier graves - mostly driven by pseudo rally drivers . . . Whistle
Great car, though - I thoroughly exercised the poor little thing for 5 yrs & 80k - it never let me down. If only everything were as reliable !

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

23 – Triumph Spitfire. Purchased on the only sunny day of 1983. Decided I needed a convertible as the weather was so nice that morning. After some careful research (looked in the classified ads of the previous evening’s local paper) bought the only convertible for sale for £750. Life was so much simpler in those days. 2016 3.0 Vogue

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Cairns Blue

Age 19, was marshalling at Aintree for the RAC Nationals Kart race and got taken out by a 200cc Kart! Put me in plaster for 10 months (busted leg), but got £800 quid compensation from the RAC so bought a Mk4 Spitfire (1971)

Picture below is of me with Gabrielle Drake (UFO, Space 1999) when they were filming an episode of 'The Brothers' at Oulton Park.

Happy days!!

Would still like to get another one (Spitfire - Not Gabrielle Drake!) or a GT-6

My roll of shame is:

Mini (4)
Spitfire
Marina T/C Coupe (shameful I know) Embarassed
Alfa Sud Ti (2)
Sierra 4x4
Granada Ghia X Estate
Cortina Ghia
BMW 520i
Volvo 240 GLT
Volvo 740
Range Rovers (3 Classic, P38, L322)
