will the cd player play mp3 its linked to a touch screen unit its a late 05 to 05 unit standard landrover changer

Well my previous 54 plate 05 model touch screen car did play cd's with mp3's on them. There are some constraints regarding the naming of the files etc, which I believe the car manual explains. Always had 6 cd's loaded full of MP3 songs, and worked a treat.

I thought the touch screens did read MP3's

As said already - if you have a manual, it should say in there.

My 2008 will read mp3 files, but it's rather finicky about the formatting. You need an mp3 disc, NOT a CDROM with mp3 files.
