i was considering renewing all the oils in my FF i.e gearbox, transfer box , diffs and power stearing oils spoke to a couple of specialists and landrover and the replies were that if you change the oils you could do more harm than good as due to the fact the oils used are a detergent type so when you put new oil in it dislodges debri and dirt that can be bad for longevity , also they said if its going to fail it will fail with new or old oil in it what are your comments to this as it does sort off make sense but on the otherhand it sounds stupid onto no6 Range Rover

Mine is going in for an oil Servis next week and I very seriously thought about it (gear box oil that is) but Land Rover say it's sealed for life and I'll never run it with out some sort of LR warenty so sod it if it goes south it's their problem. But this being real life this may come back and bite me on the bum . 2008 MY Supercharged
