Infrared temperature sensor

En route to LIDL to buy one of these. I think it will be a great tool for the garage as well as the home.
You will be able to point at a brake disk and see if it is hotter than the others, easy to tell if a caliper is sticking.
Also to be able to check if house windows are thermally efficient, walls, doors etc... Got to be worth £18.

I have spent the last hour walking around the house taking temp readings on just about every surface.
You just point the laser dot at an object, it would appear to be very accurate. I tried boiling water and ice.
I think it's a great addition to the tool collection. I'll try it on the car tomorrow. Previously..
