Central Locking/ Remote problem

Just got an 03 FFRR and non of the door locks work. You can open/lock with the key and the engine starts just fine. But non of the door lock acutators work, neither do the remotes (both) and the dash lock/unlock button dont work. Basically it does feel like my Defender Laughing . Also, im only able to open the upper tailgate. Checked all the fuses they all seem OK unless i missed something. Any ideas where to start? 06 FFRR HSE

does sound like fuses..the bottom tailgate is electronically opened when you press the button, if thats not working then it sounds like power isnt getting to it...

There's some fuses in the boot that's linked with the central locking I think. Open the tailgate and have a look behind the RHS trim panel, there should be a list of what fuses do what. 2006 Mercedes CLS

Is it only me or do I sense a potential design problem here...
