Nice job the light metallics look far nicer than the dark models there common Smile btw how much dough did you blow on updating it as you could get a 2006-7-8 for the cash?

Thank you all for the comments Smile

The leather was treated with a dye which matches the original Land Rover colour - this removes the look of any scratches, wear and tear etc I then treated several times with Liquid leather which brings then up really well. I've used the dye from this company on three different cars and it always works a treat Thumbs Up

The conversion was carried out by the previous owner - I have spent around £1000 on further enhancements such as a brand new steering wheel, additional interior trims/ replacement of any damaged bits to bring the car up to what I think is a really nice standard!

What is the purpose of the boot button upgrade I don't see any issue with the original? Whistle What I would like to do is the dampend lower tailgate Whistle Maybe in the spring Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

the boot button upgrade is a deeper recess on the button cover,

it stops you from operating the lower tail release, with your trouser 'bulge' which we sometimes have whilst walking round our cars.....or if its still up, when our tongues are hanging out, thus touching the sensitive standard button.. its about £3

The new mats I ordered from Overfinch arrived a few weeks back so I decided it was time to give the car a good clean and try out the new mats!

Genuine LR rubber mats (Winter mats)

New Charcoal Mats - Definitely make the car feel much more luxurious

I also added a genuine RR badge to my rear centre console as it had areas of impact damage (obviously due to kids kicking)

My god I'm sad taking photos of car mats Whistle Laughing

The other thing I've been thinking is should I change my from 'splitter' thingy to a titanium one? Thoughts would be appreciated would it be too much silver?

Andy, might i make a suggestion? The original aluminium side trim panels you have fitted with the black strips which are chipped & damaged... Pop them off (lever them up with a large screwdriver) and you will see the black strips are just black tape and will peel off... They would look much more modern with the black removed Thumbs Up

Its easier to paint the splitter as its a Censored to remove/replace. I think it would look better in silver. Thumbs Up

Looks a lovely condition for its age, clearly the face lift helps.

If you can spare £90, swap the front and rear badges for titanium silver (it looks fine on silver paint trust me) and also the later top tailgate strip in silver too, just freshens it all up.

I have a slight personal issue with the supercharged sill plates.... Neutral Discovery 4 HSE
