I have had my 2006 MY 4.4 V8 Vogue sine Friday and done about 300 miles so far.

A couple of problems / queries have come to light as follows so any help appreciated:

1) Reversiing camera only works occasionally (75% of the time just get a black sceen). Is there a simple fix for this or where should I start to look. I am happy bolting things on and off but cannot solder etc... for my like) How easy is it to upgrade the camera and is it just a real plug and play?

2) I don't appear to have a message saying when the next service is due, is there a way of manually checking the system?

3) I was hoping to get my Bluetooth upgraded but it has some corrosion so where can a buy a replacement unit and will this be upgraded. (good news is no dampness in the boot despite heavy rains so hopefully historical). Bluetooth works fine but I have to pair each time I start the car.

4) The 3 button key is worn, is this the one that can be changed to a flip key or can I just get new buttons


I have managed to fit the digital TV module I got cheap and it worked well. I have also swopped some blingy (imo) sie vents for grey supercharged versions.

So far low the ride and will be great if I can sort the niggles above.

Looking at getting an LR media fitted it I can sort the Bluetooth module and work out how to connect the PURE or ALPINE DAB for DAB & ipod There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

1. Never had this prob so no pearls of wisdom for this one...sorry.

2. My 06MY has never once had a "next service service message" appear. This was in contrast to a 05MY model we had, with the pre facelift dash, which always warned of required services.

4. Search the forum for "flip key" .... There are few threads which explain what u need to know. The latest has details of an order being put together to order new style flip keys.

I have sent an e-mail to his company website with photos of my module but not sure it can be done as there is some corrosion although it works fine within the limitations of that module
