Gents,

LR approved used car, 4 service stamps in book.

The last service, says, was done at 48,000 miles in May 2013

Car has only done 47120 when I picked it up....

Phoned the garage who's stamp is in at 48,000 - they say they didn't service it only carried out MOT and some work on handbrake.

MOT history seems straight at appropriate mileage.

Car seems fine otherwise.

Should I be overly concerned?

could be a genuine mistake..i'd kick up a fuss and get a free service out of them..

Aye, already got that as had suspension fault as soon as I left the forecourt!

Dealer has spoken again to servicing dealer and now they apparently did service it!

I would ask for the land rover print out of service history.

What about dropping a letter to the previous owner asking if they could confirm whether they had it serviced then or just MOT done? You could give them your email address, might stand a better chance of a reply. Previously..

They are going to give me the print out of the services and it appears they have filled in the wrong mileage in the last one.

I did all the chasing the history of the last fullfat I got but that was from a 'second hand car dealer' I thought LR Approved would be slightly easier!!!

But looks like it should all be sorted

Have used T&C in the past but not since they went Vardy!! Just looking at their website makes me shiver.

It is ubber black with coded handles, side vents and pimp glass. Defo drug dealer style. But it looks nice.
