Just a heads up following my recent foray into buying after market LED bulbs from different sellers on eBay.

When seeing adverts, even if they don't appear to have a 'Best Offer' function on the advert, I've messaged the seller and suggested to them what I'm prepared to pay/ also asking for free postage where otherwise there would be an additional postage charge; and each time they've come back agreeing with the offer, often saving a fair few quid. Hardly groundbreaking but if you don't ask you don't get and better in your pocket than theirs

and its just not for bulbs....i do this often and for the sake of an email you dont have any thing to loose..good tip ryan..

Tbh Stan I never thought sellers would entertain such requests but I tried it when making a repeat order and have never looked back since. Learning all the time

in these dire economic times it seems you can negotiate price with sellers especially on ebay..

Top tip

As you say - an email is quick & easy - also nowhere near as embarrassing as asking face to face
