United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Bonatti Grey
Suspension inactive

This and other warnings can be very alarming especially to a new owner answer usually the ride height will remain indefinatley on normal so you can continue to drive without any immediate concern.2 get your self a Storey Wilson Allcoms OB2 and plug it in this will clear many faults and in your case this one. Be prepared for as its part of owning these complicated cars to have periodic faults and take advantage of forums like this which deserve a medal and familiarise yourself with the probs that happen then you should start to lose your fear and enjoy what is the very prestigious L322. Very best of luck fab123

We tried that yesterday. Met up in Birmingham and I tried my RSW cable. I couldn't get any communication from Jai's vehicle.

My laptop was sending (Tx) ok, but not receiving (Rx). The software also showed Error next to Tx and Rx

Unfortunately as Andy stated we didn't get anywhere with the vehicle talking back. I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big thanks to Andy for taking time out and trying. Good to see the forum spirit on here is alive and well.

This points to some kind of issue with comm's I guess? I've tried the battery disconnect and reconnect procedure as another garage couldn't get anywhere with the ECU either.

When I purchased the car there was a land rover specialist(Washington Land Rover, Houghton Le Spring) card in the middle compartment. I called him for some history on the car and he said the previous owner had been to him a few times to clear down the error code. He didn't want to go further as he was selling it.

Naturally Censored off he tried to pull a fast one but also at least it means that the car has had Comm's working at some point prey recently?

Andy had recommended Jameson's in Birmingham as they have testbook.

Also..... Are there any fuses that deal with odb2 Comm's and the EAS on 2004 L322 v8 vogue?

Not sure if it makes any difference but my car has been lpg'd ??!!

Fuse 57 and 58 in the boot (right side) are shown as "Air Suspension" on the label stuck to the cover?

Cheers Andy..... Will check it tomorrow in the daylight.

When I checked in the owners manual there was nothing mentioning eas fuses in there. Guess I should've checked the actual locations in the car.

Notice that sometimes the car takes a bit longer to crank up..... pointing to a battery on its way out maybe??
