United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black
2010 Vogue SE

Hi

I'm new here so thought I'd introduce myself & put a photo or 2 up of my new Range Rover Very Happy

This is my 1st Range Rover, although we have had Land Rovers in the past , incl Disco's & Freelander ( I work in Agriculture ) ... but over recent years have moved over to BMW for day to day transport.

My main passion is older / interesting cars. I have a couple of classics to keep me occupied Cool

Anyway, a few weeks ago decided I had to have a Range Rover in my life after going in my friends brand new Autobiography , I convinced the wife with some man maths that it would cost me less per year than my current BMW Wink ... so on the 23rd of Dec, I collected my new car from Hillendale LAndRover

Its a 2010 Vogue SE

We are completley smitten with it, absolutley love it .

Only think I need to get sorted are a full set of mats & a rear load protector as we have a new puppy arriving in 5 weeks

I'm sure I'll have some questions once I start using it etc, but for the mean time here are the photos

Thankss

James

Thanks all Very Happy

It is looking clean , as you say can't see that lasting . More concerned about keeping the interior looking clean with 2 kids in the back Laughing

What's the opinions on after market mats vs original

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

Welcome! Great colour scheme - I wasn't brave enough to go for a light interior with kids!

I have LR rubber mats in mine - great as they keep all the mud off the carpets and are very easy to clean 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Beautiful car. Doubt you will be disappointed with the ownership experience.

As Graeme says, LR mats are excellent quality and you probably get what you pay for but you can probably also source a set of genuine nearly new/ as new if you are prepared to look around. We got lucky and got a full set of unwanted, as new, genuine LR rubber mats advertised by a forum member for £25 and local to us.

A tip re the light coloured interior. We had a BMW with a similar coloured leather interior and carried a set of Huggies fragrance free water based baby wipes in the car. They were incredible at safely cleaning all interior surfaces quickly and fuss free including leathers and plastics. No residue left either.

Thumbs Up

Tesco baby wipes are your friend. I have the ivory interior and love it for the light airy feeling, it is surprisingly easy to keep clean as you can see any muck straight away and can keep on top if it. I keep a pack of baby wipes in all my cars and a quick wipe keeps on top of children, wet gun dogs and grubby friends!!!

I really like that. Very tasteful.

I second the baby wipe, also having ivory, but no substitute foe leather care cream every so often.

Maths where you lose £10k per year Laughing as that's usually what it costs to run a FFRR unless your a genius with spanners, know a cheap Indy or totally nicked it on the S/H market Laughing
