Nigel,

First post on this site and it's in reply to you, been on many other forums over the years, usually ones relating to not such umm refined vehicles Smile.

Anyway - following on from a friend mentioning a cousin was interested in sourcing a 110 it's got me thinking once again about trading up in the world from my faithful but unrefined 300Tdi CSW. I'm not in any rush to buy (winter clearly isn't the best time to be looking since I already have a Land Rover) and given what's been happening back home (I'm with family in Wales) the high-riding, pressure-washable, raised intake 110 may be the better choice...

Basically seeing your post has started one all-mighty TDV8 sized itch again and since I am heading up to the Highlands for a few days to visit more family (and hopefully fill up the freezer a bit Rolling Eyes) I was wondering whether it might be possible to stop off on either the way up or back down to take a sneaky peak? Realistically I can't honestly justify keeping two vehicles let alone two Land Rovers for myself so would want a bit of time to chase up a few leads etc. However since I was passing by and given I live down south I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't try and have a look.

The current plan is to set off about lunch-time after a friend's 90th birthday shoot on the 29th and be in Fife area around late afternoon on the 30th before continuing on North up to the Highlands. I haven't quite sorted out the return but want to have the Sunday (5th I think) back in Surrey so would be heading back down 3rd or 4th probably.

Since I've only just joined this forum (initially to send this message anyway) I can't send you a PM with a few more specifics but perhaps if you send me one I can reply to it?

Regards
Ed[/url]

Damn, won't let me send a reply yet. In the spirit of not wanting to put personal details up in the public domain I'll split this in two...
