it's the tread pattern that has changed to comply with EU drive by noise laws ! Apparently if the tossers have there way you will have to book a day when you can put air in your tyres as well Far to many gone... |

Any idea what makes the new ones worse than the old - specifically? i.e. is it looks, grip or handling in the wet etc...? 2012 5.0L S/C

a tighter tread pattern and blocks , so far less snow , mug grip etc, newer ones are better for outright dry and rain but who drives the FF like a sports car ! Far to many gone... |

Thanks for that. Doesn't sound like the all rounder it used to be. I did like the comment about 'mug' grip. Don't want to lose grip of my beer mug in any season 2012 5.0L S/C
