'tis indeed a grand day out. I have done Dunkeld in a defender, disco4 and the new RRS.
It really should be done to see just how capable these vehicles are off road.  Previously..

I did eastnor castle in a new tdv8 l322 about 4 years ago.

Was nice to think you were on hallowed ground, where all new land rovers are tested. The Classic was born on those tracks.......

Did it in a nearly new 4.4 VSE 405... What a car both on & off the road! Simply staggering off road...
As has been stated on other posts ref 322 - 405 comparisons. The road manners of the 405 although fabulous is not the huge jump forward i would have imagined from the late models L322 imho! Comparing it to the P38 - L322 upgrade.
