Thanks ukrangie for the info...

I have decided to up my budget a bit and look for a 2007 model. I prefer the centre console look and the interior.

I'm looking every day and hopefully will find one soon within my budget...

Cheers

That seems quite a reasonable price to me. Milage a bit higher than average maybe, but should have a bit of LR warentee left too. Thumbs Up

Good idea to post if you don't want it, somebody else might...

What about this 1 at Land rover? It's a bit more than the first one you flagged, but will have a years warranty??

Only has 18k miles!

Hoppy, I did see this one, but it had no tints Sad Thanks for posting it though.

I know I could get it tinted, but would prefer factory tints. On the RRS I had (sorry for swearing), they were factory tinted. If they weren't, you could notice all the heating elements, so assume that would be the case on the Vogue?

It's also 3K over my budget, although they might do a deal... Surprised

I hope I'm not being to picky, but the last thing I want when getting in the car is thinking about the tints, wishing they were factory.

Lovely car though...

The factory tinting uses coloured glass I think, so you would never see any blemishes anyway. Aftermarket tinting can be really good. Mine has a light tint all round but you can't tell it's a film and it was obviously a quality job. If you can see gaps near the heater element then its a crap job I think!

Like you say though, best to wait for the perfect car if you can. Very Happy My Previous RR's!

Refering to the advert for the Range Rover Vogue SE that hoppy_70 recently posted...

... what is Scintachrome Paint?

I have tried Googling it - but just get pages of adverts for Land Rovers / Range Rovers

Searching the forum boards - MICK recently asked the same question but no one knew then...

Has anyone found out what it is since?

Sounds like a fancy name for Metallic to me. It looks Stornoway Grey.

And no tints! Bonus! Thumbs Up

Here we go....

The silver grey hue, which provides a colour effect known as `Scintachrome', causes the finish to glisten in sunlight.

Has anyone bought from this company? Are they any good? If they have, have you got a discount if you paid in cash/Debit card.

Thanks in advance.
