What about the type of screws - 5mm Self Tapping, Galvanised? All the results seem to show screws that are too long.

Sorry for the spoon feeding questions :/

Thanks

When I was taking pics for the write up, these were the just small screws I had lying around that happened to fit, but I don't think they have to be exactly the length in the pic. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I see, thanks for the reply. I'll keep googling or pop down to the local hardware shop.

I too used screws that where lying about, but did'nt have any that small, so used slightly longer ones, they poke through the plastic bit by 2-3 mm. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Thumbs Up

Just keep an eye on it when you use the screen wash, I left the tail gate cover off for a few days while using the rear wiper washer, just encase it leaked.....again! If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

My rear washer water comes out on to the screen and does not leak in the car, however, the water comes from around the base of the wiper arm on to the screen. I have tried to poke a pin in the washer jets but no difference although they appear unblocked.

Is this the fix I need to try or do I have a different problem? Any idea where to get the washer as the item in the link is no longer active. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
