Looks like some good news. I've only had my IID about a month and this is a nice sounding Xmas present. I'll look forward to 2.19. When will it go live? Bow down

This looks absolutely excellent.

Only trouble is, the Bluetooth version came out just after I bought my iidtool, so I can't connect to my ipad which is a crying shame........ Don't suppose there is a trade in option ? ...... I still have the box Bow down

Keep up the good work.

These little tools are awesome it's the best thing I've purchased would recommend it to and FF owner. The difference between theory and reality is that in theory it will work.

Along with mjdronfield, I too am feeling a bit short changed, having shelled out for the original IIDTool - all the development and improvements seem to be in the interface and connectivity for later models and the BT version of IIDTool. What options will be available for for those of us who supported the project from the outset? An upgrade solution would be most welcome Smile .

i cant see your logic in thinking you have been short changed...buy an ipad3 today and there will be an ipad4 in the next 6 months , do you go to apple and ask for a p/x?....

sell your iidtool on ebay or here and purchase a newer version..

remember that GAP dont sell directly so the logistics wont work for them to offer a p/x.. ... - .- -.

for the record - I don't think I've been short changed. Just that it might be good to offer "an upgrade deal" if they so wish. Ash

Looks like there is going to be an Android via USB app, so perhaps all is not lost Smile .

Thanks guys Thumbs Up
Christian, Patrick, and Ricky deserve the kudos.

Hi Joe,
We will not shortchange anyone. Hang on for details.

iOS and Android are via Bluetooth. Win and Mac via USB. At present, a basic controller app is avail for iOS, Android, and Win - Mac is coming. The "big app" is only avail for iOS at the moment. It will probably come to Win before Android, tho. Google has been vacillating on bluetooth 4.0.

Basic controller app (also see the post #6 "Win / Mac Controller apps" in the new product /update announcement thread - pic showing the basic app on a Mac (still some bugs))

Glad to have betas for the Pro on board. Send us a mail to support at gap - diagnostic dotcom . Do be aware that the Pro is going to be more expensive - roughly 4x an IIDTool BT. But it will do all on all Laughing
