Can anyone help with a part number please. The plastic bleed screw on my expansion tank appears to have disintegrated and let go. This is just the latest saga in my cooling system, I expect it got a bit stressed having been loosened and tightened so often recently. I have managed to fish all the bits out and just need the screw although I expect someone will be along in a minute to tell me they don't come separately and i'll need a new expansion tank.

It is a plastic screw that came out, didn't want to chance stripping the thread on the tank, suppose I could root around the garage. Problem is I have a Triumph Stag in bits too and every bolt on it is imperial, I don't think I own any metric bolts at the moment. |

Thanks Dan, I searched all last night and couldn't find one online. Phoned local stealers and they didn't have one in stock so i chanced my arm and asked if he had an expansion tank. He said yes so i said any chance i could have the screw off it and you could put the one I order back on....OK says he. I drive 20 miles to stealers and its the wrong expansion tank...he tried to tell me that I must have the wrong expansion tank on my car because the computer says he has the right one...I then point out that Jaguar supplied a 4.4 engine that year and he looks baffled, and they wonder why I don't let them service my car
