hi
whats the best place to get a transmission filter and oil
also how much oil is required

Cheaper to buy 20L and then you can change the fluid 3 times to ensure a good dilution of the existing fluid.

what grade oil is best for the gearbox on a td6 l322
im not sure if its ever had a oil change before, im on 94k now

There have been several discussions on ATF in the forum

I would def stick with the OEM spec Texaco 7045E. You will also need either a diagnostic tool or an infrared thermometer to check ATF temp when refilling the trans. Follow the procedure in the shop manual! 
RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr,
P38, and 2 L322s
(wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too)
