L322 Battery Change issues

So we changed the battery on our 04 v8 4.4 petrol RR. Got Air Suspension inactive on dash. Used Britpart Lynx, able to successfully test all air suspension, it did say that the suspension rocker switch inactive, but there does not seem to be a way of activating the switch so assumed usual battery change issues. Disconnected battery as per advice on here. When reconnected still the same issue. However when turning engine over engine will not fire, but when I release the key the engine is still turning over. Turing off ignition completely stops engine turning over, but still can get it to start. Only thing I can find with Lynx is a CANBUS error which I can delete but it does come back. I assume this is to do with the changing battery. Still can't get the car started though. Even checked all the fuses and relays physically as well as testing with the lynx. Don't know where to go next.

With battery disconnected (both terminals) have you tried touching the two terminals together? This is said to help clear down all the ECUs. Might make a difference and pick up something the Lynx isn't?

May need "proper" diagnostics to clear all faults too....although it looks like the Lynx can do all that stuff .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

We tried that one but no luck. We had to take it to an independent LR specialist. It seems that attaching the Britpart Lynx wiped all the security info and every module had to be recoded. L322 now back in action £468 poorer but fully functional. Perhaps I should contact Britpart? Anyone else had a problem with the Lynx?
