This looking for a new car is doing my box in.

Is there a difference between MY11 and MY12 models. Lights, interior, etc
I know the run out Westminster started on MY11 but did they change anything on the last year of production.

I can't seem to find anything about the cars anymore apart from looking a specs that the dealers are listing.
There also seems to be big differences in prices even though milage is very similar.

My11 Westminster 12,000 miles 47k
My12 Westminster 12,000 Miles 55k

I can't see that 6 months is worth 8k

i don't think any changes were made, but i didn't think 11MY included the run out model.

I suppose you could turn up at the dealer and compare!

2012 MY has black light backings, black grille surround, body-colour vents and door handles. All the run-out Westminsters (which replaced Vogue and Vogue SE) are 2012 MY.

Westminster is basically a Vogue with extra bits (1200W Harman Kardon, 20" wheels, dual-view screen, bling grille etc.).

Right so if you buy any 12MY you get a Westminster or an Autobiography.

That can't be right because I've just looked at a 12MY SE

The Westminsters were the run-out model - they replaced the Vogue and Vogue SE for the end of 2012 MY production. Before that, there were 2012 MY Vogues and Vogue SEs. Model year is a manufacturer thing - not the same thing as year of production or registration.

12 MY SE would be better as it has improved semi-aniline leather - without the nasty contrast piping of the Oxford leather, unless you like your music, in which case the Westminster comes with the 1200W HK Logic 7HD system.

That would be my only trade off. All the other Westminster add ons, you get on an SE, with the exception of illuminated tread plates, autobiog mats and some external bling which you don't want or need.

you don't get cornering lights either on the Westminster, subtle change but I noticed last week.

Externally the cosmetic update (black lamps, gloss black grill surround, colour coded side vents & door handles etc etc) is known as the 11.5MY
