More LEDS...

Hi

Firstly thanks to Daveo for all the help so far.

Quick assumption check. Am I correct in thinking that the "error free" part of LED bulbs is basically a resistor on the bulb to fool the can-bus system that the LED is pulling the same or similar current to a normal bulb and therefore avoid bulb warnings/errors etc?

Thanks - Mark

hi mark, you can also get inline load resister, this does the same thing, draws a load so the system thinks its a normal bulb... i have ordered a pair to try for my back lights to try with the led indicators V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Thanks Daveo,

As I’m sure all would agree from your posts, you're a bit of an electro god on the quiet Smile, seriously appreciate your help.

I’ve ordered a bunch of LEDS, I’m sure there’s a great balance between enhancement and too much. I'm just trying to find that. one of my thoughts comes from how great the original BMW halos looked when they first came out (I’m sure we all looked with a tinge of envy seeing those "funny" lights).

I'll experiment, keep trying, rely on you guys and post my attempts.

Best - Mark
